In the old days, Les Halles were a large market supplying the whole city of Paris. Nowadays, it has become a mall called le Forum des Halles. It houses the most important metro and RER station. It is also where you can find Saint-Eustache Church, which is one of the most beautiful churches of Paris with its gothic architecture and its Renaissance influences.

Building and orientation

The building is old and typical of the central districts of the capital. Common areas are well-maintained. The access to the building is secured.The apartment is located on the fourth floor with no elevator. It looks out on to a small and very quiet courtyard, thus there is no noise from the outside.

Layout of the apartment

Thanks to its modern style and its recent equipments, this quiet apartment is the perfect place to stay in Paris. The main room is made up of an American-style kitchen with a fridge freezer, an oven, hotplates with an extractor hood, a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine. The dining table made of glass and steel features extensions allowing you to receive 4 to 6 guests.
In the living room, you can enjoy a 160 cm convertible sofa, a flat screen TV as well as many other storage areas and boxes.
As for the bedroom, it is accessible through 2 sliding doors in the living room and has a 160 cm double bed (Japanese-influenced bed base): the mattress is between soft and firm. and has a good quality since the apartment has been renovated a year ago, a dressing room, and a desk. The room lightning system offers the possibility to choose the intensity of the light.
The bathroom, adjoining the bedroom, is equipped with a shower cubicle, toilets and a laundry machine.

There is no noise from outside. The apartment is not facing the street but a very quiet courtyard.

The Latin Quarter’s bookstores, publishers, and cafés are frequented by students of the neighboring universities. The sidewalks of Saint Germain bear the mark of bohemian and literary artists between old stone buildings and jazz clubs. Between Saint Germain and Saint Michel is the district of Odéon, where local students and foreign tourists alike gather to get a drink, dine, and go to the movies.
