Lovely two-room apartment, peaceful and bright in the Halles
Renovated at the end of 1980s, Montorgueil street’s neighborhood is an extension of Les Halles. Its streets, newly made of cobblestones, are now roads closed to traffic. Mortorgueil is a market place where bakers, cheese mongers, and market gardeners are lined up: all the colors and aromas make the travelers feel like they are in little villages in the countryside of France. There are lots of restaurants and bars in the streets nearby.
Building and orientation
The apartment is located on the 5th floor an old stone building, directly accessible by the elevator. It has a secured access. The apartment is double oriented, on one side it faces a paved street semi-pedestrian, and on the other side, it overlooks a peaceful courtyard.
Layout of the apartment
This bright and beautiful apartment offers great services with its large living room and its bedroom overlooking the courtyard. The entrance leads to all the rooms. On the street side, the living-dining room consists of a 140 cm sofa bed, a coffee table and a dining table. The ethnic touch in the decoration brings out a nice atmosphere to the room. The open plan kitchen completes the space. It is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher, hot plates and a washing machine. On the courtyard side, the lovely bedroom is furnished with a 140 cm double bed as well as a dressing. The bathroom has a shower tub and WC.
The Latin Quarter’s bookstores, publishers, and cafés are frequented by students of the neighboring universities. The sidewalks of Saint Germain bear the mark of bohemian and literary artists between old stone buildings and jazz clubs. Between Saint Germain and Saint Michel is the district of Odéon, where local students and foreign tourists alike gather to get a drink, dine, and go to the movies.
The Halles are paved streets to be discovered but also a strategic position to go easily all around Paris. Located a lovely old building, this two-room apartment is designed for a comfortable stay.
