It sells everything from fruit and vegetables through to DVDs, books, linen, furniture and the latest in fashion at very reasonable prices. The second half, where the apartment is located, has less hustle and bustle of the market stalls. It has a wide range of boutiques with women and children’s clothing having a monopoly- a testament to the number of families living in the area.
Halfway down the street, there is a square called Place du Levis which allows you the opportunity to sit and have a coffee or perhaps a glass of wine while watching Paris from a truly French perspective.
